Who are Friends Women?
Friends Women is a monthly gathering of ladies who desire to learn about our missionaries so they can pray more intelligently. They also raise monies to support work on our mission fields. The meetings are held at 7:00 PM on the third Tuesday of each month. They meet in the parlor and enjoy times of fellowship as they learn. All women are encouraged to attend.
Yard Sale and Bake Sale Saturday, May 15th! 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM
Spring is in the air, which means it is time for cleaning out the closets and then refilling them with stuff from other people's closets! This is a major fund raiser for the Quaker Chicks, Friends Women, and Clase de Amigos de Dios to support our projects throughout the year. As you put aside your no-longer-needed treasures, it will help if you can price them (with a garage sale price). Books and clothes do not need to be priced. We cannot use any stuffed furniture, mattresses, televisions, or computer monitors. It would also be appreciated if all donations can be at the church by 9:00 AM on the 15th.
CANS for Camp
Friends Women continue to collect cans for next summers’ camps. Bring your cans and other aluminum recyclables and place them by the trash can between the two front doors in the foyer. If you have any questions, please call Teri Lane.
