Responsibilities:

Is
a consistent witness for Christ.

Pray for the work of the committee and staff
-
Attend committee meetings.

Hire, fire and evaluate staff (Senior Pastor, Music Coordinator, Outreach
Coordinator, and Ministry Coordinator).
-
Evaluate and help create staff job descriptions.
-
Work with staff to determine the direction God would have our church head to
grow spiritually and numerically.
-
Work with staff to determine what kinds of programs our church should be
concentrating on, and then oversee these programs (e.g. small groups, school
of ministry, Stephen Ministry, etc.)

Coordinate spiritual renewal conferences.
-
Work with staff to insure quality worship services.
-
Coordinate substitutes for staff during vacations.
-
Approve new and transfer membership requests.
-
Coordinate Labor Day Camp, Thanksgiving service/breakfast, decorating the
sanctuary for Christmas and collection for staff Christmas gifts.

Must be a member of FDFC.

growth in our church body.
